Contractors

Call us in to walk you through the planning of your first solar project. According to CPUC's Solar Initiative Handbook, section 2.1.4, if you are currently licensed as an A, B, C-10, or C-46 contractor, you can do most or all of a typical home solar installation.

Many contractors are seeing an increase in requests for solar-related projects, but most have no formal training or specialized education for this specialty. Let us assist you in providing the best service for your client.

You probably don't have time to first take a 20-week solar basics course-- and then attend the advanced courses that follow. We have that needed specialized knowledge and we can pass it on to you in a quicker, more direct fashion, with a job-site consultation or a one-on-one training session or a group seminar/'boot camp' or a one-day 'Solar Installation Basics' meeting.

Note: 95% of residential roof-top solar energy systems in the Los Angeles area have NO batteries or energy storage. Instead, solar panels are used to supply most or all of the home's daytime electricity needs, using power from the electric company usually only at night. And when the solar system brings in more electricity during the day than the home uses, it is back-fed into the electric company's grid, either bringing you a credit or spinning your meter in reverse!

When you bring in our assistance at a project site, we are there working for you, not competing with you: we don't sell any materials or do any installation.

We can also help you with the C-46 test if needed.
